- The works mainly include: • applying soil protection for existing quay wall; • the outbreak of the existing flooring (incl. Protected train tracks, crane traces, cobblestones) where they must be replaced under the supervision of a specialist; • Moving and replacing the protected historic harbor cranes; • Performing and placing anchors under the pre -anchors to anchor the quay wall; • Partial demolition of the existing quay wall to a certain height. The front surface and the cover stone of the quay wall in natural stone are becoming careful broken down with the aim of reusing the parement stone as finishing of the Kesp. The existing Bolders are also carefully broken out with the aim of reusing these; • Rebuilding of the Kesp + Parement, on top of the historic quay wall. The historical view must be reconstructed to be. This is done by a combination of structural concrete, placing recovered natural stone (parement) and the (re) placing of new or not new cover stones in Belgian bluestone; • replacing the cobblestone pavement; • Returning the controls of the operation of the historic harbor cranes; • Provided with a passing water pipe in collaboration with Water-Link; • Provide waiting tubes for future power cables to the sockets; • Placing ladders, rubbing wood, cage ladders, gauge plates, lids, ...
