ZAS MI Restoring concrete rot facade South Block B

When repairing affected concrete, a careful process is followed to guarantee both the aesthetic and the structural integrity of the concrete. The process starts with probing the entire surface, where the concrete is investigatedTo determine whether there is damage or relegation. Subsequently, all loose, affected and sanded concrete is cut away, so that only the healthy concrete remains, which is essential for a sturdy and long -term repair.

After removing the damaged concrete, the to be restoredZones straight -in, so that the edges are clearly defined and the repair material can adhere well. The remaining healthy concrete surface is thoroughly cleaned and polished to create a rough texture, which promotes the adhesion of the new mortar. The reinforcement is thenFully cleaned and treated with a rustinhibitor to prevent further corrosion, which is essential for the long -term stability of the structure. The reinforcement protection is applied in 2 layers with a minimum thickness of 1 mm per layer. The standard EN 1504-7 must be respected.
