- In the context of the call for 'green -blue pearls' launched by the Department of Environment of the Flemish Region, Statistics Netherlands decided to participate. A design for the softening and greening of the neighborhood was worked out in collaboration with Igemo and Antea. The following ideas were taken into account: - softening of footpaths - Cut at the height of Herfstraat, so that a green space with Wadi can be set up - designing green inner areas - communication to the plots/owners involved - some driveways are broken down and replaced by water -reducing paving the streets in which the works must be fed in. They are part of the neighborhood in which many VMSW homes are located. This is the Autumn Street, Zomerstraat, Lentestraat, Graanweg and Winterstraat.
