- This contract is a joint service contract within the meaning of Article 48 of the law. The purpose of this contract is the execution of services relating to the spreading of chemical melts and snow removal on roads and highways managed by the Walloon Region (SPW MI, Direction des Routes du Luxembourgg Vielsalm district) as well as operations to put in order the Administration's salt deposits and/or stocks, truck services, specific equipment and labor and rental without driver. Specifications Winter service 2024-2028 District of Vielsalm - Page7 / 164 This contract is part of all the activities organized and carried out by the Administration during a winter season with a view to ensuring the winter viability of its road and motorway network, better known as winter service. These services relating to the organizationation of winter viability are planned between October 15 of each year and April 15 of the following year; these dates define the winter period. They may be modified by the contracting authority if climatic circumstances require it. The duration of the winter period is nott only indicative and does not bind the contracting authority.
