- The Fire Service and Urgent Medical Assistance Service (DBDMH) Brussels-Capital Region uses the software application CUMULUS for its personnel management, and more specifically payroll administration. The intention is to fully virtualize and robust the current Cumulus environmentto do so: currently the Cumulus application still runs on a 'host' server on which the following other virtual machines (VM) also run: the Oracle DB, the print server and the SAP Business Objects application. DBDMH wants to take this VM off the 12+ year old 'host' server and put it in the 'cloud'and, such that the existing unsupported hardware can be abandoned and switched to a quasi hardware independent environment, which will have a significant positive impact on the first and foremost Cumulus application.
