Virtualization of the environment of the cumulus application.
The Fire and Urgent Medical Aid (SIAMU) service in the Brussels-Capital Region uses Cumulus software as part of personnel management and more particularly payroll administration. The intention is to fully virtualize the current cumulus environment and make it more robust: currently, the cumulus application still runs on a "host" server on which the other virtual machines (VM) also run: the database Oracle, the printing server and the SAP Business Objects application. Siamu wishes to remove this virtual machine from the "host" server over 12 years old and place it in the "Cloud", so that the existing equipment that is not taken care of can be abandoned and tilted towards an environment almost independent of hardware , which will have a significant positive impact - first - on the cumulus application.
