Description:
VUB collaboration between the laboratory of In vivo Cellular and Molecular Imaging (ICMI) and the electronics department (ETRO) brings together multidisciplinary and complementary expertise in the field of nanobody tracers and "real-time fluorescent lifetime" image visualization.
These two keysTechnologies are being combined to show surgeons during operations where cancer tissue is located, to more accurately know which parts to remove, and what to leave based on the presence and longevity of the fluorescent nanobody tracers. Other applicationand can also benefit from these key technologies, but have yet to be identified.
It is the task of the valorization manager to analyze and identify financing opportunities and contribute to new subsidy projects through a valorization and business development strategyto develop long-term strategy for the group. Key industry players need to be involved, convincing prototypes need to be created by the group, key customers need to be identified and a path to one or more spin-off beds needs to be charteddrive. He/she will also contribute to the reporting of the projects.
