- Description:
- IVAGO has an extraction turbine that drives a generator. The turbine is a 2-body overhang turbine: the rotors are suspended floating outside their bearings. The 2 bodies are connected to the reduction gearbox, which in turn is connected to the synchronous 3-phase generator. The turbine is used to convert high-pressure steam (steam HD of 36 barg) into medium-pressure steam (steam MD of 10 barg) and into electrical energy. The installation has been in use since 2006. Various parts of the control and security cabinets are outdated, no longer supported or at the end of their lifespan and need to be replaced. The contractor must offer a solution to keep the installation operational until the end of 2030, in particular 4 years after the conversion in June 2026. Alternatives are possible in terms of choice of component suppliers. The entirety of components and controls must meet strict safety requirements (sufficient SIL level). The works can only continue during the annual downtime of the power plant. The new installation must include at least the same functionalities and security as the current installation. The supplied solution and components must guarantee a minimum of 5 years of operation. At The new installation requires an additional control option to be added: a power control.
