- TRV3019 - Tervuren, sewerage and road works in the Vander Achterstraat. The project includes the construction of a separate sewer system in Vander Achterstraat. A pipe with a diameter of 250 mm is installed for the waste water. The rainwater is collected in the narrower part from Kapellestraat opted for a combination of infiltration gullies and an infiltration shaft, which continues to the intersection with the Oude Gasthuisstraat. From there, a 400 mm concrete pipe is provided, which is then connected to the mixed sewerage in Paardenmarktstraat and Hoornzeelstraat. At the same time, Vander Achterstraat will be completely redesigned with a ground-level layout and one-way traffic. In this redesign, the emphasis is on softening and creating a pleasant living environment for residents and students, with special attention to the planting concept.
