- This assignment concerns maintenance work on the Linkeroever trambus track located on Blancefloerlaan between the start of the Regatta turning loop and the bridge over the R1-E17-E34 connecting road. During these works, the existing road surface must be broken up into clinkers to the level of the cross beams of the tram tracks (-20 cm) and a new 3-layer asphalt pavement must be laid over the entire work zone. These works will be carried out in as few phases as possible, but subject to conservation of accessibility to stop infrastructure and assembly area. The execution of these works will take place in combination with a rail-related maintenance and renewal project, whereby these works will be carried out by another contractor. These work fall under the name “Curve Renewal Regatta”, whereby several bends are renovated 1 on 1, but the tram track is also maintained locally, so that it is ready for the construction of asphalt paving included in this specification description. During both During the work, tram traffic will also remain in service continuously, which means that certain work (e.g. laying a top layer of asphalt) must be carried out outside tram operating hours.
