Training and patent of caregivers and digital companions
In the wake of the sanitary crisis related to COVID-19, the risk of marginalization on a notable part of our fellow citizens in the face of digitization of essential services has increased considerably. In 2019, 10% of Belgians still did not have access to the Internet and 32% of them only had low digital skills. The challenges of digitization are numerous, and that of the capacity of front-line actors seems to us therefore essential. Such a capacity building would allow to rehumanize contacts with digital administration while lowering the barriers of digital adoption to leave no one away from the digitalization of essential services. To do this, the DG TD wishes to put in place a training and a certificate of caregivers and numerical companions.
