- THE SUPPLY AND COMMISSIONING PVD EQUIPMENT
This tender concerns a contract for the supply of products as referred to in article 2 of the Act of June 17th 2016 concerning public procurement, published in the Belgian Official Journal July 14th, 2016 (hereinafter: ”Public Procurement Act”). This public tender concerns an equipment for the research and development of advanced metal-electrodes for (green) hydrogen gas electrolysis; more specifically, physical vapor deposition (PVD) equipment is required for the fabrication of the base-substrate on which further (wet-chemical) processing can be done. Only the PVD-processing (and not the wet-chemical processing) is considered in this tender. The equipment must be compatible with millimetre-thin substrates with an area of up to 1000 cm2; only single-substrate processing is considered, no batch processing. In addition to the research and development of the electrodes, the equipment should enable us to verify the industrial scalability of the manufacturing process. This requires a certain equipment flexibility, but also a high degree of process-control and -monitoring to demonstrate/assess the stability of the process.
