Description:
The Optimization & Planning (OP) team is responsible for the short-term operational planning of crucial airport processes, including Check-in and Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM). The team provides active support during the day of operation (D0) by immediately absorbing operational disruptions and also continuously works on improvement initiatives. The team operates from the Airport Operations Center (APOC) and is active 7 days a week, with two shifts on weekdays and one shift per day on weekends. An important foundation for the OP team is the resource tool it uses. As part of the eAOP project, it has been decided to implement a new Resource Management Tool in 2027. During the implementation of the new RMS, the operations continue uninterrupted. Because the contract with the current service provider expires in June 2026, BAC is looking to select an external partner who can guarantee operational support until September 2027. In order to ensure a smooth To ensure transfer, the selected party will start in May 2026.
