The drive of the trams operates on a direct voltage of 700 V c.c. This energy is supplied via a cable network to the power supply boxes that are attached to the overhead line poles.The power supply boxes ensure the connection of the power cables (700 V feeder cables). These cables come from the substations, where the connection of the power cables to the overhead line is established as well as the separation of the networks by means of theinstalled isolating switches with manual operation.
