SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A MATRIX-ASSISTED LASER DESORPTION IONIZATION TIME-OF-FLIGHT TYPE MASS SPECTOMETER (MALDI-TOF MS) FOR THE IDENTIFICATION OF MICRO-ORGANISMS (BACTERIA, YEAST, FUNGI) AND THE DETECTION OF RESISTANCE TO ANTI-INFECTIVE AGENTS AND OTHER APPLICATIONSAT THE MICROBIOLOGY LABORATORY.
The GHDC wishes to replace the Maldi-biotyper mass spectrometer currently used by its microbiology laboratory with a latest-generation system.
The contract consists of the supply, installation and commissioning of a mass spectrometer tMatrix-Assisted Laser Desorption Ionization Time-of-Flight (MALDI-TOF MS) for identification of microorganisms (bacteria, yeasts, fungi and mycobacteria), detection of resistance to anti-infective agents and other applications in the laboratory of Microbiology but also the fsupply of consumables and dedicated reagents.
Training in use and an omnium maintenance contract are an integral part of the contract.
