- The order envisages a framework agreement for the supply of 23 compressor kits (including chassis, compressors, air dryers, electric motors and inverters) that will be installed on the M3/M4 metros. These kits must provide a flow rate of 1460 l/min at operating pressureof 10.5 bar. The available volume for the engine-compressor kit on chassis is approximately equal to: • length: 1,220 mm • height: 641 mm • width: 880 mm. The available volume for the air dryer kit on chassis is approximately equal to: • length: 880 mm • height: 641 mm • width: 430 mmThe new compressors must be compatible with the compressors currently installed on the M7 metro cars (brand Knorr-Bremse type VV180-T2.0) in order to be able to recover them after the end of the service life of the M3/M4 metro cars. The compressor kits will be delivered at the same time as the studiesand the pre-assembly of the elements are delivered. The installation of these equipments on the M3/M4 vehicles will be carried out to replace the current compressor kits, without any modification to the M3/M4 metro vehicles, according to the 'plugressors and inverters) will be of the 'Proven Design' type.
