Supply of an automated system for measuring antimicrobial sensitivities of bacteria as a measure of minimum inhibitory concentrations (CMI)
This specifications are written as part of the replacement of existing equipment within the microbiology department of Saint Luc university clinics in Brussels. These equipment constitutes an automated system allowing the realization and interpretation of the sensitivity to antimicrobials (antibiograms ) clinical and environmental bacterial strains found in the laboratory, from the realization of the standardized bacterial suspension until the interpretation of the inhibitory minimum concentrations (CMIS) in sensitivity categories I, S, R, and the integration/complete interfacing of These results in the lis (Beaker/Epic) of the laboratory.A indicative title, the microbiology laboratory annually produces around 14,000 antibiogram per automated galleries; 10,000 on enterobacterials - 4000 on staphylococci and enterococci.
