- Purpose of the supplies: Technical theatrical scenography work in the large BOX1 auditorium with 378 seats and in the small BOX2 auditorium with 208 seats. In particular, supply and installation of laser projectors, screens projection and a sound diffusion system. The KANAL project: The Brussels-Capital region wishes to provide Brussels, European capital, with a Cultural Center of international level bringing together a Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art as well as a Center of Architecture. The site chosen is that of the former "Citroën Yser" garage located between Square Sainctelette, Quai de Willebroek, Quai de la Voirie and Quai des Péniches in 1000 Brussels. The floor area for the entire project rises approximately 45,000m². The KANAL Cultural Center will notably house: - Approximately 15,000 m² dedicated to modern and contemporary art, including 12,000 m² reserved for exhibition spaces; - Around 10,000 m² dedicated to architecture; - Around 10,000 m² of space versatile indoor public spaces, free of access for all, intended for culture, relaxation, entertainment, education, meetings, etc. - Approximately 10,000 m² of logistical and administrative spaces In fact, in addition to the areas dedicated to exhibitions cultural spaces, multi-purpose cultural spaces, relaxation and education spaces are also planned, the ambition being to offer a place of permanent cultural entertainment open to all.
