Description:
In accordance with annex 4b of the decree of the government of the French Community applying the decree of April 30, 2009 relating to the development of reading practices organized by the public reading network and public libraries, the support operators must Ensure the free provision for direct operators of their territory of a bibliographic commercial database allowing both orders and the recovery of notices directly usable for the catology. In accordance with article 4 of the same decree, support operators are also required to create and manage a collective catalog of the collections of direct operators in their competence territory. To implement this collective catalog, the support operator acquired an integrated library management system (SIGB) and gradually integrated the recognized direct operators of its territory according to a phasing spread over 5 years.
