Description:
STIB wishes to collaborate with a bailiff's office, mainly for services related to the recovery of commercial debts, legal surcharges imposed on fraudulent travelers on vehicles and in spaces operated by STIB, as well as administrative fines. The assignment concerns the handling of cases in the amicable settlement phase and/or in a judicial phase.
The assignment may also relate to any other task reserved by law for bailiffs, such as drawing up reports.
STIB itself arranges for the collection of a portion (approximately 40%) of the amounts due to it. This assignment with a bailiff's office allows you to continue with the steps to be taken and increase the collection percentage.
By working directly with a bailiff and a single interlocutor, STIB strives for greater efficiency, simplified management and a complete service, from the sending of a file and its opening in an amicable phase to the possible judicial enforcement, according to a predetermined route specific to each type of recovery (commercial debts, allowances and administrative
