Description:
In 2020, the project memorandum for the entire passage of Heist was approved by GBC and RMC. The realization of the project was then divided into 6 different partial phases (and therefore 6 different tenders).
Sub -phases 1, 2 and 3 have already been realized. Sub -phase 4 is in progress (September 2024 to June 2025). For partial phase 5, the technical file is in preparation for performing September 2025 to June 2026.
For the last partial phase 6 (= AB6), it was decided to put a separate study assignment on the market for the design and implementation of Heldenplein and the construction of the Underground parking garage given the complexity and specific interpretation for this assignment. The power lines of the concept for the development of Heldenplein are written down in the approved project memorandum: Page 56 69. Nevertheless, the preliminary design for this sub -zone was in the project memorandum elaborated, further research is required. Both for superstructure and for the underground parking garage, there are still various outstanding research questions that must be filled in.
The redesign concerns both the redevelopment of the superstructure, the construction of the underground parking garage as an innovation of the sewerage system. The redesign must be in phases anyway. The works must be fully finished and put into use by June 2030, this is included as a binding provision in this assignment.
