The Municipal Swimming Pool of Nieuwpoort was completely renovated in 2007. In 2022, a Condition State Measurement NEN2767 was drawn up and the building was found in Condition State 2, which is a good condition. The rebuilding of the swimming pool is not an issue today.
However, today are especially technical are aging the installations, resulting in more failure and repair costs.
It is the ambition of the AGB Vrij Tijd Nieuwpoort (autonomous municipal company) to keep the Performing Sportbad where it is pleasant to stay, 100% reliable and contemporary for the next 20 years.
For this reason It is necessary to carry out a number of works (total renewal) in the short and medium term in order not to carry out unnecessary repair costs.
