• Application of remote sensing program on roads with very high intensity in Flanders Application of remote sensing program on medium-high intensity roads in Flanders The Flemish Environment Agency (VMM) is planning an assignment in which a structural, area-wide remote sensing program is being deployed and operated in Flanders. Stationary sensors are installed that are capable of accurately measuring the emissions of various pollutants (NOx, particulate matter, hydrocarbons, ammonia, etc.) via the exhaust of road vehicles. This program should become a reliable source of emissions data on road vehicles in real driving conditions. In addition to the emission measurements, the contractor is responsible for additional, for the correct processing of the data and further interpretation of the emission performance, collect necessary information and, if necessary, provide it to the contracting authority (for example: license plates, necessary data for VSP (vehicle specific power) calculation, measurement location, time of measurement, etc). see selection guidelines o Lot 1 focuses on the organization of a remote sensing program to capture traffic at strategic locations on the main road network.
