Description:
The Tervuren municipality reviews the current software landscape around its civil affairs and reception department (population, civil status and immigration affairs). The service is currently being used in various applications from different suppliers. This has a number of restrictions: • Files are becoming more complex and more and more often their family members are registered in various registers and have various questions at the same time (such as an application for sustainable stay in Belgium, simultaneously with an application for Belgian nationality); • Employees who take on different roles within the cell must regularly switch to another working environment; • The learning curve for new employees is unnecessarily large because they must get to know multiple applications; • A more flexible work organization within the service is more difficult to realize; • Cost effectiveness, including in function of links to be made.
