- The conditional release of fixed radioactive material is permitted by the Belgian nuclear regulation framework under specific conditions. A permit application file must be submitted to the Federal Agency for approval for approval
Nuclear control (FANC). Article 18 of The ARBIS describes what such a permit application should contain. Only if all conditions are met can a permit for removal via Article 18 be issued.
Belgoprocess aims to conclude a framework agreement with a partner (deponia) to different inerte Material flows (concrete debris, sand, ingots, etc.) to be released according to Article 18 of the Arbis.
Including services are: acceptance and deposit of the materials.
In the implementation of the assignment, the environmental conditions included in VLAREM must be taken into account, more specifically VLAREM II Criteria Article 5.2.4.1.10: "Criteria for waste that is acceptable to dangerous waste landfills" and criteria regarding PFAS.
