Description:
The Agency for Nature and Forests wishes to conclude a framework agreement in two lots with external contractors to purchase various services for groundwater research (lot 1), further planning and design of measures (lot 2) for various water projects in the river basin. Kleine Nete between the weir in the Spaans hof in Herentals and the weir on the Kleine Nete in Kasterlee near Houtum. Following ecohydrological research into wetland and marsh restoration in De Zegge Mosselgoren and Olens Broek (Witteveen+Bos, 2024), large-scale changes have been made to the hydrological system is necessary to achieve the European nature goals. To ensure all this runs smoothly, a Taskforce for De Zegge was set up within the area coalition of the Kleine Nete. The task of this Task Force is to implement the ecohydrological measures study further and implement it in the field. The Taskforce consists of the Flemish environmental administrations Agency for Nature and Forest (ANB), Institute for Nature and Forest Research (INBO), Flemish Environment Agency (VMM), Flemish Land Agency (VLM) and Department of Environment, the provincial service for integrated water policy and the Office of the Governor of the province of Antwerp.
