Description:
The object of the market is the provision of services relating to the quantification of food and kitchen waste in Wallonia generated by the distribution and catering sectors. The study relates to the quantification of masses of food waste and kitchen generated in Wallonia For the year, measures for wholesale and retail trade and other forms of food distribution and for restaurants and catering services. The measures carried out must make it possible to establish these tonnages for subsequent years. The study must also Determine as much as possible the quantities of bio-waste according to the edible or non-compliance type, the quantities of biodechets given in animal feeding, the quantities avoided bio-waste when food and cooking products are redistributed in the form of food donations. That must make it possible to respond adequately to compulsory European reports relating to food losses and waste defined in the 2018 Directive (EU) 2018/851 of the European Parliament and the Council of May 30, 2018 amending the 2008/98/EC Directive. Two subcontractors, the federation Horeca Wallonia, the Comeos Federation are taxed for this market.
