Description:
The works are planned within the project zone of the Schelde-Leie Ruilverkaveling on the territory of the city of Ghent (Zwijnaarde) and the municipality of Nazareth-De Pinte. With land consolidation, the plot structure of the agricultural plots is restructured. This involves work to ensure good water management can be guaranteed, the relief is given a logical shape, the plots and the entire project area are landscaped and all plots are accessible and demarcated. This includes: Various site development works: digging and filling in canals, demolition and construction of plot driveways and transitions, cultivation of field roads, processing of soil and leveling. Various road works: reloading agricultural roads with crushed stone, rebuilding limited parts of municipal roads. Various works on nature plots and buffer strips: earthworks natural construction, installing fences. Various planting works: planting mainly linear strips of trees and shrubs.
