Description:
The contracting author wishes to develop the former town hall located in Hoogstraat 29 (and at the rear Schuttershofstraat 16) and the site behind it into a residential street with green zones and gardens. The green open spaces act as a backbone for housing development, these are with sufficient diversity designed. There must also be a public passage from Hoogstraat to Schuttershofstraat. The site will get a new interpretation, with the following principles: • A renovation of the historic mansion with: O on the ground floor a commercial space and a public passage to the area behind; O Max. 3 residential units; • Development of various residential blocks consisting of apartments and homes - a total of max. 8 residential entities. The tenderer examines whether or not he (partly) renovates or opts for new construction. • The various building volumes must be harmonious in terms of height on either side of the site • Development of open space with green zones and gardens. • Public passage from Hoogstraat to Schuttershofstraat from design research came a draft proposal for the design plan established. The number of residential entities in the development plan is the maximum number of residential entities that can be realized.
