- The assignment of this specification concerns the purchase of vehicles that are used as passenger transport for seniors within a healthcare context.
The wheelchair buses are used to transport seniors between their place of residence and the day care centers within the working area of Zorgpunt Waasland.
This So-called mobi buses are driven by volunteers and mainly cover short distances.
Since the drivers only have a driving license B, an offered vehicle must, after conversion, meet the requirements to be driven by a person with a single driving license B.
The assignment is divided into two lots: one for a vehicle powered by conventional fuel (diesel or naft) that meets all technical requirements: and one for an electric vehicle that meets all technical requirements.
Zorgpunt Waasland gives tenderers the opportunity to apply for each plot separately to register, or to participate in both lots.
There is no purchase obligation on each plot, as the needs and budgets throughout the term of the assignment are not yet fully known at the time the specifications are drawn up.
The estimated quantity is four mobi buses.
