- WV and DMOW want to tackle road safety proactively by not just relying on historical accident figures. They are looking for an innovative method that maps the safety of every road segment and intersection with the help of data and risk models. They want a flexible platform Combining different models into one powerful safety analysis, fully transparent and sensitive to policy changes. Purpose Project AWV and DMOW are looking for a proactive method to identify black and gray points on the road network. The new approach must be a safety or Award insecurity score to every point on the network. This score must be accurate, explainable, sensitive to changes and adaptable to policy changes. Black points are currently being identified on the basis of historical accident and victim figures. This reactive method Do not take other relevant data sources into account, such as road infrastructure or traffic volume. To tackle this limitation, AWV and DMOW propose the development of a data and model orchestration platform that can perform multiple risk models based on various, geographically linked data sources (always linked to the GRB).
