  • According to the royal decree of April 26, 1999 relating to the creation of the Belgian coordination commission of antibiotic policy also known as Bapcoc, the Commission is notably responsible for making recommendations concerning the indications for prophylactic use and therapeutic antibiotics. Such recommendations help doctors make decisions based on evidence concerning the most appropriate and effective diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for their patients. They are therefore made available free of charge in the form of a friendly and concise guide, easy to use during consultations. The aim of this market is to develop and finalize a revised version of the Belgian BAPCOC anti-infective treatment guide in order to take into account the evolution of the medical and epidemiological context. The last update was carried out in 2022.
