The planning permission for this project was granted on 07/14/2025.
The B6a Chemistry building at ULiege dates from the 1970s, it is dilapidated and requires major renovation to bring it up to standard in terms of technical compliance, energy performance, comfort and requirements. related to research, etc.
The work which is the subject of this contract concerns the heavy renovation of the NORTH and WEST wings of the building and the lighter renovation of the SOUTH wing. They include, in a non-exhaustive manner:
-For the NORTH and WEST wings: demolitions down to the structure concrete, the renovation/transformation of the exterior envelope (facades, frames, roofs, etc.), the entire reconfiguration of the interior platforms (special techniques, finishing touches, etc.) and all updates to standards. The WEST wing is reconfigured into laboratories and the NORTH wing into offices.
-For the SOUTH wing: replacement of the frames and repair of the roof, technical compliance.
-The renovation of the surrounding areas (building bases and large square courtyard, underground parking).
In order to guarantee the continuity of certain activities, the following phasing is announced: work in the wing WEST which will be completely emptied before the start of the project (the NORTH and SOUTH wings remain occupied and in activity during this phase), transfer of the laboratories to the renovated WEST wing and emptying of the NORTH wing by ULiege, work in the NORTH wing.
