• The subject of this assignment concerns the dimensioning, delivery, installation and commissioning of a process of heat recovery system (WTW) within the VEG-ITEC Living Lab located on the site "UGent Campus Kortrijk" (see also www.ugent.be/vegitec). The executive (and contracting)However, the government agency for this assignment is Howest (Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen). The proposed installation will be used for research, education/education and demonstrations of the recovery of otherwise wasted heat within the vegetable and potato processing industry on bothIndustry as within various training courses. The implementation of such a system is new because it will be linked to the local heat network "Kortrijk Weide". The advantage of the implementation of the system is two -fold. First, the vegetable and potato processing developsIndustry quickly, where thermal and electrical energy is recirculated, reused and diverted to other parts of the process. However, there is an abundant overproduction of low -quality (low temperature) heat that is often lost in the environment.
