- The European Commission DG Communication (COMM), in partnership with the Joint Research Centre and the European External Action Service intends to run a competitive process for the provision of purchasing cards to European institutions in 2023. This may result in the establishment of a framework or contract available for use by institutional contracting authorities throughout Europe and worldwide. The purpose of this RFI is to help the European Commission develop a stronger understanding of the market. DG Communication seeks to gain an insight from service providers that are in a position to provide purchasing cards to the European institutions. Please note that this is not a competition and we are not seeking tenders at this stage. It is purely an information gathering exercise seeking the views of market operators on possible approaches for service delivery.
