- The STIB, for the maintenance of the metro network, has 5+2 Diesel JHON COKERILL locomotives. 2 older locomotives are of the HLR-091 type with cummin and panta engine. (n 61 and 62) 5 (3+2) Hydrostatic locomotives allow double traction - locomotives 65.66 and 68 can work byPair (double traction) - Locomotives 67 and 69 can work by pair (double traction) - locomotives 65.66 and 68 can work by pair with locomotives 67 and 69, but this is not recommended because the times of reactions of these 2 vehicle deliveries differ. To improveThe possibilities of convoys, we want: - the 2 locomotives 61 & 62 can work in pairs (double traction) - All locomotives can work in pairs (example 61+69 or 66+67) at the therme of the project, we wish that: - Each locomotive has a traction capacityat least identical to current capacities (60T/locomotive). - have 7 locomotives all interchangeable and capable of working in double traction through a communication system between standardized vehicles. During the duration of the supply, the STIB must be able to have anyTime of the entire locomotive park for the organization of night sites.
