- The entire server infrastructure within the municipality of Knokke-Heist must be replaced and we also want to relieve the ICT department of the maintenance of this infrastructure. In terms of hardware, this means that all hypervisors, storage, storage switches and UPSs must be replaced. It is beIt is important that all new equipment has a 5-year maintenance contract on all parts (including the batteries of the UPS).
We continue to work with an on-premise environment, but take into account that the migration to cloud will grow in the coming years, which means we would move away from dedicatedstorage solutions but migrate to shared storage.
