- Description:
- The order concerns the supply and installation of refractory material in the various sub-installations of the IVAGO waste-to-energy plant for a period of 2 years. The inside of the waste-to-energy plant (incinerator to steam boiler) is covered with refractory material to protect the steel outer walls against the high temperatures of the firebox and flue gases. This refractory material sometimes becomes damaged and also wears off. Therefore, periodic recovery is necessary. The repairs can only take place during a complete standstill of the waste-to-energy plant. The refractory material in the waste-to-energy plant can be restored by updating or renewing parts. This work can only be done during a general shutdown of the waste-to-energy plant. Before commencing the work, IVAGO (or its appointed expert) will carry out an inspection and subsequently draw up and make available a report. In this report the damage picture and the actions to be taken are described. Following the inspection, the contractor will be informed which sections need to be demolished.
