Description:
The Meetjesland Entrepreneurs Center is a multifunctional business complex. The business premises are rented to start-up and young companies in expansion with temporary space needs. The business center was expanded in two phases: - Building 1: located at the front of the plot and consisting of three business units (built in 2000) - Building 2: behind building 1 and consisting of 4 business units (built in 2016) Building 1 has now been in use for 24 years. The building is structurally sound order, but visually it shows less attractive due to wear. The design of the office areas is also outdated and does not fully meet the current needs of growing companies. In addition, the building no longer meets the current requirements stricter standards, such as in the energetic field. The POM East Flanders wants to renovate the building: - to make the building visually more attractive - to spatially adapt the business units to the new needs of the companies - to to adapt the building to the new standards with regard to sustainability, energy, fire safety, ... and to make it technically sound so that it is ready to rent to start-up companies for the next 25 years without any worries.
