Description:
For Gerust Zorgcentrale, the Wit-Gele Kruis provides an emergency center service for answering, processing and terminating emergency calls from PAS systems for its subscribers. The current eNovation UMO software to support this service has reached end-of-life status and must be replaced.
The bThe existing software supports two sites, both active, but also each other's backup in terms of infrastructure, but serves operators located in the five Flemish provinces, mainly from their respective provincial support point or - in case of emergency and under policy restrictions - Op distance.
From the five provincial locations, the dispatchers accept alarms initiated from their own province, but in the event of crowds, emergencies, etc. also alarms from other provinces. The alarms consist of sound, data and - sometimes also - video.
Alarms are processed from receipt tot handling/closure within the context of the alarm center, which is completely isolated from the other infrastructure at the relevant locations.
The current software supports multiple types of PAS systems, multiple protocols and multiple telecom providers. The alarm devices have been rolled out in freshvarious contexts: individual devices in private homes (B2C), but also grouped in the context of assisted living facilities (B2B).
