  • Description:
  • To prepare the Loswal 1A site, we must remove 8.9 hectares of reed vegetation. All the deleted vegetation must be compensated. The compensation will be done at 3 locations ("Grote Kreek", Muisbroek and shifted sham) by lowering ground level at these locations in order to one to obtain watering from the site. Once the ground level is lowered, the reed plants can be planted at the locations.
    This assignment includes reed compensation on the 3 areas above.
    Place (s) of services: Antwerp
    The assignment is divided into three zones:
    Zone 1 "Great Creek"
    The Grote Kreek is part of the nature reserve 'De Tuipe Duck and the Grote Kreek', located in the NMBS Ranger Station Antwerp-Noord, surrounded by railways, container terminals and industry.
    About 60 cm of land will have to be excavated at this location, which is a volume of approximately 42,000 m³ Of which is expected to be 6000 m³ of polluted PFAS land. These volumes can differ greatly. The client cannot be held responsible for this.
    Zone 2 "Muisbroek"
    Muisbroek is part of the area on the Ekerse Putten and is located north of the pond.
    On these Location will have to be excavated approximately 80 cm of land, which is a volume of approximately 13,000 m³, which is expected to be 2500 m³ of polluted PFAS soil. These volumes can differ greatly. The client cannot be held responsible for this.
