- The PCR platforms in real time will be used under ISO 17025 accreditation in the context of the detection of the presence of DNA of animal targets in animal food or in their raw materials and within the framework of the detection and quantification of GMOs . The purchase is justified by the need to have two operational real -time PCR devices to carry out the analyzes. Indeed, we have a Lightcycler 480 thermocycler, currently used for detection analyzes for the presence of animal targets, which is 17 years old and its repair in the event of a breakdown is no longer ensured by the firm. We also have the thermocycler Quantstudio 6, currently used for GMO detection analyzes, which no longer meets the specifications of the laboratory in terms of quality as well as the minimum requirements of international standards and this problem cannot be resolved by the firm .
