- Maria Middelares is a non -profit organization consisting of two hospitals, AZ Maria Middelares Gent & AZ Sint Vincentius Deinze, and two medical centers (in Gentbrugge and in Aalter).
Since January 2024, the hospital has started the development of a new logistics and facility platform in Nazareth.
For thisLogistics Platform has been worked out a master plan that must give various care-supporting services a place in the existing buildings. These services can thus be centralized and at the same time make room in the hospitals for care functions.
In total there will be two (2) departmentsComing together on the site in Nazareth:
• Central warehouse management (sterile & non-sterile goods)
• Distribution pharmacy
This assignment concerns the delivery, implementation and support of an as much automated solution for identifiable and scanable of all medicationthat is administered within Maria Middelares vzw, up to the level of the unity dose. Special attention is paid to the integration in the existing logistics and pharmaceutical software environment of our hospitals and the facility and logistics platform De Prijkels.
The desiredSolution must contribute to increasing the traceability, safety and efficiency of the medication within our organization. Crucial here is the ability to identify and scan any unit dose in a uniform and standardized manner.
