Description:
Qualification system of contractors who are able to perform the finish of the optical fiber cables that have already been laid on the entire Belgian rail network includes the finish: • the inspection of the laid cable at the location of the works to be carried out; • Welding the cable and delivery of the welding boxes and the required accessories; • the finish of the cable and fibers on the ODF distributors, with delivery of the distributors and the required accessories; • the delivery of a measurement report for each optical cable compartment; • The documentation: the schedule of the distributors and the welding boxes, the identification of the fibers and the accessories. The qualified contractors will be consulted for performing the aforementioned works. Only the contractors who are qualified in the context of this procedure may carry out the intended works, possibly in subcontracting.
