Description:
The Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ) wishes to increase its seagoing capacity by purchasing a long-range, multifunctional, unmanned surface vessel for scientific research and innovation (USV). The USV will mainly be deployed in the North Sea, in particular in the entire BBelgian EEZ, the North East Atlantic and Arctic waters during the summer. The USV will operate autonomously or remotely for a long time, have a long range and will operate from a coastal port or be deployed and/or picked up from a sufficiently large ship. In addition to executingn of scientific measurements, the USV has an important purpose as a link for robot-robot interactions.
