- I.1.1. Background Stijn vzw is a network of healthcare entities spread across Limburg, Antwerp and Flemish Brabant. There are ten active service centers within the care network, where care is provided to children and adults with disabilities ranging from: moderate, severe to profound; and this at 37 locations with more than 2000 employees for 3700 clients. As Stijn vzw we offer various forms of care, including day care, residential care, short stay, outpatient and mobile services. We are being crushed for this more subsidized by the Flemish Agency for Persons with Disabilities (VAPH). All entities are supported from one central support and coordination center. To date, all healthcare workers and administrative staff are employed in their daily work supported by internally developed software. This software includes applications written in RPG (AS400/Powersystem), Delphi, and C# that connect to DB2 and SQL server databases. In 2023, it was prepared for a digital transformation a vision of the future with regard to ICT has been developed in which the following pillars are central: 1. A cloud-first strategy is used, which means that the new software applications follow the SaaS principle where the application and data are hosted in the cloud. 2.
