UZ Leuven is looking for a new server platform (on Prem) for the next 4 years.
UZ Leuven today has 150 servers (Blades and Rackservers). 70 of these 150 servers are used for VMware and are replaced every 4-5 years today. The other servers are retained for at least 5 years.
Background
uzLeuven has 2 onsite data centers. These are two active-active data centers: this means that most applications are active in 1 data center and standby in the other. This changes over time and it is different for each application in which data center this application is active.
Because ofStability and redundancy aspects are as little as possible to these data centers.
We want to monitor and manage both data centers in such a uniform and simple way.Leuven today has 150 servers (blades and rack servers). 70 of these 150 servers are used for VMware and are replaced every 4-5 years today. The other servers are retained for at least 5 years.
