About Gassco AS (Belgium branch) Gassco AS is a Responsible Operator for a safe and efficient guest transport from Norwegian Continental Plat. The Norwegian Gas Transport system includes more than 20 pipelines and 60 connections to gas supply installations whose total distance of integrated pipes is more than 7800 km. The ' Zeepipe Terminal ' located in Zeebrugge, is responsible for the pressure reduction of the gas that comes in Belgium from the Sleipner Platform, located in the North Sea. Once the pressure is reduced, the gas is forwarded to Fluxys. Fluxys then is responsible for the further distribution in Belgium. In addition to Zeebrugge, Gassco bites a ' on Shore ' Gas reception terminal in Duinkerke. She is responsible for pressure reduction once the gas comes ashore and then sends it to Grtgas in France. Gassco Zeebrugge is the responsible contracting authority for this assignment. Both entities (Gassco Zeebrugge and Gaasco Duinkerke) will place their PO individually to the tenderer to whom this assignment is awarded.
