Description:
This assignment concerns the adoption of services to strengthen student psychologists to guarantee the demand for short -term psychological support and guidance. Student psychologists have been confronted in recent years with an increasing demand for guidance. Due to the greatly increased question from students who need support and care, the existing team was expanded in September 2024 with independent psychologists. The expansion ensured that: - students are no longer confronted with long waiting times. - Being able to offer short -term guidance within UGent (max. 5 conversations). - Sufficient group training sessions can be offered (inter alia more efficient studies, fear of failure, procrastination, sleeping problems, fear of speaking, procrastination when writing a bachelor or master's thesis). Since some independent psychologists are no longer available in the coming academic year and we want to guarantee the continuity of our services to the students, we are looking for new independent psychologists who can strengthen the existing team on a weekly basis from the 2024-2025 academic year.
