Description:
This tender concerns the delivery of twenty -two species of metal scientific rings with a unique code, intended for marking wild birds. The rings must meet the following conditions: the metal must either be aluminum, or an alloy that is resistant toCorrosion by seawater; The engraving must be clear and easy to read to prevent confusion with codes; The engraved code must correspond to the typologies (alphanumeric - number of characters) that have been in use at the IRSNB since 1929; The rings must have an opening so that they are without furtherProcesses around the paw of the bird can be confirmed; The rings must be supplied on plastic tires or another material that ensures that they do not get spread during handling; The rings must be placed on the aforementioned tires in the rising order of the code; TheRings must be attached to the plastic tires in this way that they do not fall off, but can still easily be removed one by one; The rings, in series of 50 or 100, are packed per type in bags that are equipped with a label with the type of ring and the start and end code of theseries.
